Behringer MINIFBQ FBQ800 is a very compact graphic equalizer that measures 9.5 inches in length. Its small size allows you to stack several or more of these units together, which completely expands its practical framework.
The front panel is where you will find the graphic EQ with 9 faders in the middle. To the left is your LED cluster that shows you the levels, and right next to it are level controls. On the opposite end is the EQ mode cluster where you can find a 12 to 6 dB pad and Behringer’s trademark FBQ feedback detection system.
Speaking of which, feedback detection works great when you are using this EQ during a live performance. It allows you to quickly recognize which frequencies are causing trouble, and take care of them on the go. The back side is where all your inputs are. This unit accepts both the instruments and microphones via the XLR/TRS inputs.
Its small size allows you to stack multiple EQs for different instruments or channels. There is also a low cut filter that gives you a way to get rid of those pesky unpredictable frequencies that can cause unwarranted noise. The low noise amp ensure a great quality of sound with little to no distortion, which is great for studio work.
Performance

What we like
This fine balance between performance and form factor that Behringer has managed to achieve is the golden middle, the sweet spot. This EQ is perfect for studio use and light performance use on stage.
What we don’t like
There is nothing we can find to be a flaw with this EQ. It works as intended, and delivers exactly the type of performance a dynamic live situation requires.

Behringer MINIFBQ FBQ800 comes across as simple, but it’s a lot more capable than it appears. Its versatility comes from its modular nature, which is something many sound technicians can appreciate.
